Innovators Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for participation in the FolaFutbol Innovators STEM program.

These terms apply specifically to the FolaFutbol Innovators program and supplement our general Terms of Service. By enrolling in the Innovators program, you agree to both these program-specific terms and our general Terms of Service.

Program Overview

The FolaFutbol Innovators program provides STEM education, coding workshops, robotics training, and technology mentorship for students.
Programs include hackathons, after-school workshops, summer camps, and school-integrated curriculum.
Participation is subject to availability, age requirements, and prerequisite completion where applicable.
These terms supplement our general Terms of Service with provisions specific to the Innovators program.

Intellectual Property and Student Work

Students retain ownership of all original code, projects, and creative work they produce during the program.
FolaFutbol may showcase student projects (with permission) for educational and promotional purposes.
Students grant FolaFutbol a non-exclusive license to display their work in program showcases and portfolios.
Curriculum materials, lesson plans, and proprietary tools provided by FolaFutbol remain our intellectual property.
Students may not redistribute program materials without written permission.

Enrollment and Participation

Parents or legal guardians must complete enrollment and consent forms before a student can participate.
Students must meet age and grade requirements for their chosen program track.
All participants are expected to follow the program code of conduct and safety guidelines.
FolaFutbol reserves the right to modify program schedules, content, and instructors as needed.
Enrollment does not guarantee placement in specific workshops or hackathon teams.

Technology Use and Safety

Students must use program devices and software responsibly and only for educational purposes.
Accessing inappropriate content, attempting to bypass security measures, or misusing equipment is prohibited.
Students must not share login credentials or access another participant's accounts or files.
FolaFutbol monitors technology use during program activities to ensure a safe learning environment.
Violations of technology use policies may result in temporary or permanent removal from the program.

Liability and Assumption of Risk

STEM activities involve use of computers, electronics, and in some cases robotics equipment.
Parents acknowledge the inherent risks of hands-on technology activities and workshops.
FolaFutbol maintains appropriate insurance and follows safety protocols for all activities.
Parents are responsible for informing staff of any medical conditions or accessibility needs.
Emergency medical treatment will be sought if necessary, with costs the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Program Fees and Refunds

Program fees must be paid before the start date unless a payment plan or scholarship is arranged.
Scholarships and financial aid are available for qualifying families.
Refunds for participant-initiated withdrawals follow our published refund policy.
If FolaFutbol cancels a program, full refunds will be provided.
Equipment or materials provided on loan must be returned in good condition at program end.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our general Terms of Service.
